um, I’m not sure I well understood the question. Anyway, when I finish drawing a line (with the pen tool), I click on the pen tool icon. In this way the line I drew becomes deselected and I can draw another line. Did I answer your question?
temper temper lol..ummm 25 days, takes 25 years to know photoshop lol..probobly wont learn nothing in 25 days for a newbie. Just keep on learning, Even the pros still learning..
ok.. when you select the pen tool, look at the beginning of the high bar.. there are 3 options:
shape layers, paths and fill pixels.
you have to choose the second one, paths :3
yes the pen tool is creating a colored shape and not a line… like when i follow the outline of the face once its completely outlined the face is closed by color.. i have been wanting photoshop for a while and i finally found a site where i could download a 30 free trial and as of now, i only have 25 days left and i don’t know how to do anything.. its just irritating. Do u know how to change the pen so it only draws a line?
i am following what u are doing EXACTLY but my tool is not doing what urs is….. god i **** photoshop!!!!!! have been trying antrying and trying to do one little thing to a pic and i can’t seem to figure anything out!!!!

Should name it Photo manipulation with Photoshop. Caricature is much more than that.

unfortunately I can’t help you.. I don’t use strange settings, so I can’t imagine what’s the problem..
A. the pen tool create a colored shape and not a line?
B. you are not able to curve lines?
(sorry, if I commit grammar error but I don’t know very well english)
